Season 26 review

Written by Xtreme Cycling at 16:34 17/12-2013

In season 26 we reached new heights again, although it wasn't a very stable one. We started the season in div 4 but we didn't manage to stay there, in fact we dropped down all the way to the 8th division but we fought our way back to div 4.

The main reason for this comeback were our captains who again didn't dissapoint this season. Gastulo is still going strong with 8 top 9 finishes of which there were 4 podium spots. He even wrote history by becoming the first Peruvian who secured a podium spot in a classic.

Our other captain Ruben Lissón had a nice season as well. This was his first season at Xtreme Cycling and he managed to get some points for us in the Cobble races. In total he got 4 podium spots and one other top 9 finish.

Let's make summary to see who else scored some points this season

  Leopoldo Gastulo: 217 points
  Ruben Lissón: 210 points
  Eric Bourgois: 48 points
  Albion Dance: 7 points

Our goals for this season are:
-Finishing the training of Brendan Burton and Yannis Van Clynenbreugel
  - reach div 3
  - participate in a tour
  - Get a podium spot in a classic.
